2-16 Bystander syndrome

Bystander syndrome is when a person or a group of people are witnesses to something, and dont do anything. The reasons for this is because of: public humiliation, fear of violence/ getting hurt, and "some one else's problem." People now are trying to train people in "Bystander intervention." This is where a person/ group of people stand up and help a person in trouble.

There are 4 things that you need to to help someone.
1. assess the problem.
2. make a call whether or not it is an emergancy and needs help
3. assume responsiblity
4. go help/ get help
